IS THERE A FERRY FROM ROATAN TO GUANAJA?
Yes, there is a ferry from Roatan to Guanaja. The ferry is called Galaxy Wave and leaves Roatan at 1pm on Friday and at 4pm on Saturday to Guanaja.

The ferry leaves Guanaja on Saturday and Sunday at 8:30am to Roatan.
There is also a ferry from Trujillo on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and you can fly on a daily base from La Ceiba.
See further information.
HOW TO I GET FROM THE FERRY or the airport TO THE HOSTEL?
You can take a water taxi for 500 - 1000 Lempira. The price can depend on the weather condition, the amount of people and the time of the arrival. Our weekly package for the  private house includes round-trip transportation for free.

If you come from Trujillo, there are two stops in Guanaja. The first is Bonacca and the second is Mangrove Bright. From Mangrove Bright you can take a tuc-tuc to East End (100 Lempira) or we pick you up from Bonacca with the boat.
CAN I CHANGE MY RESERVATIONS DATES?
We are trying to keep the reservations dates as flexible as possible. If you tell us 3 days before arrival or earlier that you want to change your dates, we can arrange it.
Can i Bring my pet?
Yes, you can. You have to consider that we already have 2 dogs. I believe you know your pet well enough to know if he/she can handle it.
How to I get to the hostel from the mainland?
Trujillo to Guanaja: There is a ferry that comes over Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm for 1000 lempira per person. Contact us for more information

La Ceiba to Guanaja: The Galaxy Wave goes from La Ceiba to Guanaja with a stop in Roatan on Friday and Saturday at 9:30am or fly on on a daily base with CM Airlines or Lanhsa Airlines.
How is the diving in Guanaja?
As part of the Meso American reef system, Guanaja has amazing diving, with far less dive traffic than neighbouring islands of Roatan and Utila, so you'll be able to visit some pristine dive sites with very little dive traffic.
WHERE CAN I BUY GROCERIES OR GO FOR DINNER?
If we pick you up from the ferry or the airport you can buy groceries in Bonacca where is the cheapest. You can also buy supplies in Savannah Bright. The town is 15 minutes walking distance away from the hostel.

We have restaurants in Savannah Bright, Mitch and Mangrove Bright. Those restaurants are accessible by Tuc-Tuc. If you want to have a more "fancy" dinner, we can bring you to other places by boat.
